END OF TERM 1 SCHOOL CONCERT

Кінець І чверті 2018 навчального року прийшов до нас із чудовим святом Великодня, який  приготували вчителі та діти нашої школи.

Концерт розпочався виступами старших учнів , які читали вірші про Пасхальні традиції.  Начальник школи Елла розповіла кілька цікавих легенд про Пасхальні вітання та виготовлення писанок і крашанок.  Молодші школярі підготували музичнку казку «Курочка Ряба».

​

А далі почались Великодні розваги та змагання, в яких брали участь і діти, і батьки, і вчителі. Всім до вподоби були Перегони з писанками та  Пасхальні головоломки . Тим більше, що всі в цей день відчували себе переможцями та отримали велику купу шоколадних яєчок!

​

Свято закінчилось виступом танцювального колективу, який  підготувала Сімон. Один з танців, який вчителька  вивчила з дітьми, був присвячений п. Федіру Мельничуку. Танок  під назвою «Весна в повітрі» був вперше  виконан танцювальною групою пана Мельничукa в шістдесятих роках.

Та як же добре та радісно закінчився концерт, всі разом( всі до одного!) стали у два великих кола веселого танцю навколо пасхальних  ківтів. Яка чудова єдність дітей, батьків, вчителів та громади!

​

Всі учні отримали сертифікти за добре навчання у 1 чверті та участь у Пасхальному святі, а також грамоти  за досягнення у танцювальному класі.

​

Треба зоокремити про невід’ємну учаcть і добре зладнання учительського колективу. Особлива подяка Еллі Климовій за організацію цього концерту.  Надя Чубко знову виконала неоціненну послугу з перекладом для Елли (п. Елла і п. Надя доповнюють одна одну дуже файно) .І  чудове створення хореографії Сімони Литвин,  за сприяння Андрія Лозика і Тім Кай.

​

Цієї чверті ми помітили ,що кількість учнів зросла в школі , а  це є слідство доброго приміщення і професіоналізму всіх співробітників. Школа тепер має навчальні програми з української мови та хореографії.

​

Ми заохочуємо всіх батьків, які мають дітей шкільного віку приєднатися до нас у 2 чверті , яка розпочнеться 1 травня 2018 року.

The end of the first term of the 2018 school year came to us with a wonderful Easter Concert, which was prepared by the teachers and children of our school.

​

The concert began with the performances of senior students who read verses about Easter traditions. The head of the school Ella related a few interesting legends about Easter greetings and the decoration of Easter eggs and pysanky. Younger schoolchildren prepared a musical fairy tale "Kurochka Ryaba".

​

The Easter entertainment and competitions then began and children, parents and teachers participated. Everyone enjoyed the Pysanky Races and Easter jigsaw puzzles. Especially since everyone on this day felt like a winner because they won chocolate eggs! 

​

The concert ended with the school children performing several dances prepared by Simone Litwin. One of the dances that the children performed was devoted to Mr. Fedir Melnyczuk. The dance called "Spring in the Air" was first performed by the dance group of Mr. Melnychuk’s dance group in the sixties.

​

The concert ended on a joyful and happy note with everyone joining hands in two large concentric circles and dancing around a circle of Easter flowers. What a wonderful unity of children, parents, teachers and community!

​

All students received achievement certificates for the first-term education and Easter parties, as well as diplomas for achievements in the dance class.

​

It is necessary to emphasize the integral participation and good coordination of the teaching staff. Special thanks to Ella Klymova for organizing this concert. Nadia Chubko once again performed an invaluable translation service for Ella (pani Ella and Nadia complement each other fabulously); choreography by Simone Litwin for the choreography and dance instruction, with the assistance of Andriy Lozyk and Tim Kay.

This term we noticed an increase in the number of pupils, which is a consequence of the good premises and professionalism of our teachers. The school now has curricula in both Ukrainian language and dance.
