Fr Ihor Holovko's Welcome Morning Tea

Perth's Ukrainian community welcomes new parish priest, Fr. Ihor Holovko and his family with a morning tea after Liturgy.

The Church Hall was exceptionally full with almost parishioners who attended liturgy staying back to welcome Fr Ihor Holovko, his wife Olena and daughters Viktoria and Sophie.

The occassion was also a sad one because Fr W Kalinecki will be leaving us shortly to return to Melbourne so it was wonderful to see Fr Wally (and Deacon Richard) perform mass with Fr Ihor.

Fr Ihor brings to us renewed passion to our Ukrainian identity - he was on Maidan of Dignity in Dec. 2013 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1apktzlb_4 ).
